Biographies in Science

A biography is the story of someone's life. The person can be living or dead, famous or unknown. Biographies detail important events, successes, and milestones of a life. Though we most often study historical figures in social studies, great people have contributed knowledge to all of the subjects we study in school.

Science Topic 1: Inventors

Match the inventor and the invention:
Thomas Edison Cotton Gin and Interchangeable Parts
 Eli Whitney       Telephone
Alexander Graham Bell       Incandescent Light

Choose one inventor. Imagine you are a newspaper reporter assigned to cover the inventor's life and latest invention. List ten questions you would ask the inventor about his like, and then write the article.
